When painting, each stroke is a multitude of decisions beyond knowledge. You tap into your intuition and are guided by something that produces effortlessness, or what I call "being in the flow." It is not something you can will or command. It is an extension of a larger part of oneself that is beyond comprehension and sometimes even words. Similar to meditation, creativity immerses oneself in the timeless gap of the sublime.
