Imagination goes beyond artistic ideas on what to paint or what to write about. Our greatest use of our imagination is when one can imagine ourselves in someone else’s shoes seeing and feeling what the other might see and feel. This creates a vinculum between the known experience and the unknown experience. Imagination is just not the incentive for art it is also the incentive for comapssion. Without imagination we cannot bridge the gap between two people, two cultures, two philosophies, two experiences.
